Finally researching places to get a tattoo in DC. I think I’m actually serious about this.
I found one place that got rave reviews on Yelp, but as I have no experience in this whatsoever, I figured I’d ask y’all if you knew of any good places in the DC area- if you have a tattoo or know someone who has gotten one in this area.
I’m going to call the other place to make an appointment for a consultation and to check it out in the meantime.

Have 2 from Fatty’s, and love him. Does a great job, listens to your ideas, v professional. Jinx in gtown is TERRIBLE; several people I know had to have theirs redone elsewhere bc it faded after 6mons-yr.

I’ve been researching too, and was told that Jinx Proof in Georgetown is amazing. I have three friends who have all gotten beautiful work done there.

Fatty’s in Dupont! Don’t be discouraged by the name —the tattoos & overall experience are really awesome. Sidenote: Jinx in Gtown does great work but doenst allow anyone to go w you when you have it done!

Ambrotos in Silver Spring is great, they did mine and Micah’s and a few other friends, people also rave about Jinx in Georgetown.
